Peach cobbler ques.?

i have recipe for peach cobbler and i will like to know do you ppour the juice off the peaches

Peach cobbler ques.?
depends on your recipe, actually.

if you are making a cobbler with a crunchy top, you will want to discard most, not all, of the juice.

if you are making a cobbler where you make a batter that rises through the fruit, creating a more cake like top, you can keep about 2/3 of the juice.
Reply:This is pretty much the recipe I use when in a hurry. I use all the juice with the canned peaches, I use margarine instead of butter and don%26#039;t use a blender....I just stir until almost smooth.

Let is sit after removing from oven about 10 min.gives everything chance to settle and juices to thicken. This one will Not have the crunchy top.
Reply:If the recipe didn%26#039;t say to drain the peaches, then don%26#039;t. Your recipe may require the extra liquid to be in there......
Reply:What juice? Canned peaches? I couldn%26#039;t tell you without knowing the recipe since I always use frozen or fresh peaches for pies and cobblers.
Reply:Do you mean from canned peaches?
