Peach Cobbler Filling??

I%26#039;m pregnant.. I have a craving for peach cobbler but I%26#039;ve never made it before. I have a thick pie crust that I%26#039;m going to use. Does any one have a quick %26amp; easy recipe for the filling? I want to be able to quickly put something together tonight.. something simple like sugar, peaches and cinnamon or something. Thanks.

Peach Cobbler Filling??
use a large can of peaches-undrained, 1/4c. flour, 1/2c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/8 tsp. nutmeg and 4 tbsp. ice cold butter. Pour the peaches into the pie pan or the pan you%26#039;re using. Then in a mixing bowl, combine all your dry ingredients together, and sprinkle over the peaches. cut up the butter into tiny chunks and dot it over the pie filling. Cover with the crust, and cook in preheated 350 oven for 25-30 minutes.
Reply:i add a little nutmeg if you have it on hand i use the jiffy box recipe it good
Reply:Just substitute peaches instead of apples in a cobbler recipe. They also have recipes on Bisquit boxes for cobblers.
Reply:You can basically follow an apple pie recipe and toss it in the crust. . . .For a cobbler, you%26#039;ll want a crumb topping- oats, cinnamon, etc. It%26#039;s really easy- not much more than what you said: peaches, sugar and some nutmeg.

Here are some cobbler recipes..... are you wanting cobbler or pie? They are two different things.....
Reply:If you are using canned peaches, drain the syrup (save it in a separate container) %26amp; add sugar and a little cinnamon to the peach slices. Stir a couple of teaspoons of corn starch into about 1/4 cup of the syrup until all the lumps are gone %26amp; pour that back into the peaches. Now you have peach pie filling.

If you are using fresh peaches, mix your sugar, cinnamon %26amp; dry corn starch together %26amp; toss with pealed, sliced peaches. No need to add liquid - the peaches will make their own as they cook.

I%26#039;ve never used a recipe for cobblers %26amp; I%26#039;ve made a lot of them, so I can%26#039;t give you exact measurements. Just play around with it. You%26#039;ll do great - and congratuations %26amp; best wishes for the baby. :)

Peach Cobbler Recipe #31901

I found this recipe on the internet from the Salt Lick Restaurant in Austin, TX. Everyone loves this recipe so much I have to make a double batch! Feel free to cut back on the sugar. Everyone has and it still comes out perfect. :D Personally, I always use two bags of frozen peaches instead of canned.
